    Víctor Torres Landivar


    Víctor was born in Pamplona (Spain) in 1985. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Public University of Navarre (UPNA), Pamplona, in 2009 and 2010, respectively. He obtained the Ph.D. degree, cum laude, in Communications at Public University of Navarra, Pamplona (Spain) in 2014.

    He was a member of the Antenna Group of UPNA from 2010 to 2014 as a Ph.D. student. During this period, he also worked as a visiting research scientist at University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA; at Imperial College London, London, UK; and at the Nanophotonics Technology Center, Valencia, Spain. From 2014 to 2015 he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Antenna Group. In 2016, he joined the Anteral Team as THz engineer.

    He is specialized in millimeter-wave and THz systems, infrared spectroscopy measurements, metamaterials and frequency selective surfaces design, plasmonics and fabrication processes based on photolithography. He has published 16 international journal papers and more than 55 international conference papers.

    During his free time, he enjoys playing trumpet in two different bands and traveling around the world to practice his favorite sports: snowboard and surf. He is also a kitchen lover, especially of Japanese dishes.
