uRAD is conceived as an evaluation platform to develop new and innovative applications or endowing intelligence to other common objects.
Thanks to uRAD, you will be able to develop and create new applications such as vibration sensors, distance and speed meters, vital signs controllers, movement sensors, etc.
uRAD is based on the IWR6843AoP chip of Texas Instruments, uRAD detects range, velocity and angle of objects with unprecedented accuracy and robustness.
- Distance accuracy: +-1mm
- Velocity accuracy: +-0.15m/s
- Angle accuracy: 1 deg
Moreover, it exhibits and ultrawide field of view of 160 x 160 degrees which make it perfect for people counting applications.
Leverage the open and free software of Texas Instruments to develop your own projects. You will have access to many laboratories to test different applications from the beginning: points cloud visualizer, area scanner, automated doors, gesture recognition, level sensing, people counting, robotics, traffic monitoring or vital signs.
uRAD platform provides full hardware, user manuals, technical support and all the necessary software, including libraries in Python so that it is as easy as plug & play.
